Me eomplaineil that the first paragraph (about the vice-regal dinner) gave a long list of the guests present but nothing about what they ate; the. only really appropriate item in it was the news that "Mho Minister of Interna] Affairs" was present! The want of classification in the "Wnnted Column" was objected to by Mr Davidson, who also objected to the sparing use of words by advertisers. The next debate will be on the topic ''Whether the introduction of Machinery Has Benefited the Working Class.'' The affirmative. will be taken by the Rev. H. T. Stoalev and the negative bv Mr IT. 11.
