Hockey.
A meeting of the Management Committee of tho Horou hernia Hockey Association was held last night, when the following members were present :-M««srs B. 8. Horn (chairman). O, H. Judd, E. -\Y. J. Smith. H. Horrobin, W. Broujditon and J. Davidson.
Mr Davidson said he hail come to the meeting specially to lay before the. committee the grievances of the aouthorn dubs. He said ho. Lad boon instructed by the three clubs (Otaki, Kahui, and Te Horo) to inionn the association that uinless they wero to retain thoir points gained in tho first round, they had no intention of continuing the competition, and that rathor than submit to unfair troatmiut hoy would bo disqualified. It was their intention, Mr Davidson said, to appeal to tho New Zealand Hockey Association if they did not receive fair play at the hands of the local governing body. Mr Broughton then moved and Mr Horrobin seconded : "That a general mooting of the Hockey Association he called at the earliest possible date." This was agreed to, and it was further decided that the mooting be held on Monday next, at the Town Hall, Maiiakiau.
