» I NEW ZEALAND FARMERS' COOPERATIVE DISTRIBUTING CO., LTD. WEEKLY REPORT. (Special to The Horowhenua Chronicle.) WELLINGTON, June 12. The potato market has firmed during the week, and to-day's values are 10s in advance. The wet weather has probably been in some measure responsible for this. Seed lines are offering freely, and are of good quality. Onions are now in regular supply from Australia. Dead pigs are in splendid demand, porkers and baeoners being specially enquired for. Eggs are unchanged, but are in short supply. Grain is quiet, with unchanged values. Chaff is steady. Straw is scarce, and in ; good sale, and holders should communicate with us. Poultry of good quality is specially enquired for. Honey is slow of sale, and cheese is very dull. Our trade in wool, skins and hides is expanding rapidly, and we invite consignments with every confidence. All our consignments are submitted at the regular combined sales, and highest current rates are assured. We are receiving many orders for agricultural lime, which is now being largely used.
