The potato market is still keeping linn, and the supplies are readily obsoibcd. Growers will, however, be wise to forward their holdings with as little deJny as possible, as there is every prospect oP --the present prices coming back, and throughout tho country there is ample- supplies for the season. Seed potatoes aro selling freely, and tho quality offering this year is decidedly good. Dead pigs continue in exceptional demand. Eggs are wanted in larger quantities. Poultry continues to find excellent sale, especially turkeys, which mre higher in value than for many years past. Grain is very quiet, but chaff is in very fair sale, and straw and hay especially enquired for. Fruit.—Apples have advanced iand the demand for all fruits is very satisfactory, with supplies insufficient

for the requirements of the trade, especially pears. Vegetables.—Cabbage and cauliflower, excellent demand. Lettuce arc selling at fancy prices. Marrows and pumpkins find ready sale at high values.
