A Levin Wedding

WILSON-FRANCIS

On Wednesday Afternoon, at St. Mary's Church. Levin, Mr Cyril Wilson was united in holy matrimony to Miss Maude Francis. The Rev. H. T. Stealey was the officiating minister. The bride was given away by her father. Mr W. Francis. of Weraroa. The service was choral, and the wedding march was played by Mrs T. Brown, the church being nicely decorated for the event. The bride was charmingly attired in a dress of ivory satin charineuse. with orange hlossoms and veil, and carried a shower bouquet. There were two bridesmaids. Miss Aitken, who was principal, wore a becoming dress of pale blue satin charineuse, with a black hat trimmed with blue, and carried a bouquet of violets. Miss Sylvia Butler, the assistant bridesmaid, wore a dross of ivory chiffon taffeta, and carried a basket of flowers presented by Mrs R. Prouso. Mr Vernon Wilson was best man. and Mis* Francis's brother was groomsman. The bride's mother wore a dark cos tunic and a hlaek hat. while tinbridegroom's mother was attired in a navy blue costume and purple hat. After the ceremony tho wedd ing party and friends adjourned to Williams's rooms For the wedding breakfast. 'During the breakfast the health of the bride and bride'iroom was proposed by the Rev. Mi Stealey. He wished them happiness, and impressed on them that to secure happiness they had to work together and lend one another strength to fight life's battle. The health of the hridosmaids proposed by the bridegroom's father, and Mr T. Brown proposed the health of the best man. After this tho reception broke up. and the happy couple went southwards in 'i

motar car. speeded by tho best wishes of everyone--and an old shor dragging behind the motor. Many handsome presents were received In Mr and Mrs Wilson.
