great name for itself 011 account of its excellent part sinning and original comedy. Included in the com pany is M iss Cissy Keele. one of the iinest contraltos Xew Zealand li.t produced, Miss Iris KxTga. fascinating souliivtte. soprano, Miss Lulu Lussaius, an original comedienne .aiw danccr. with tlie hall-mark of London and South Africa in her work. Mr Afford Keefe, rich basso; .Mr Kennedy Black, compose!' baritone and pianist ; Mr Hugh C. Steyn. an English Pierot comedian, with Londan reputation. Popular prices will be charged. K IXC'S THEATRE. .Just recently a sporting drama 'Ails shown at the King's Theatre, entitled "The Double Event." It was HKK) feet in length. On Monday night lioxt such another lilm will be exhibited. .11, is entitled "The Cup Winner.''" and it includes sensational and romantic episodes. This film has been secured at a high eost, but tile proprietors announce that notwithstanding this thoy will charge their usual prices of Is and Dd respectively. They guarantee that the public can depend upon pe-: led. clear and flickorless pictures. A lirst-l'lass cornet player has been secured to assist Mr Kearsley, and it is intended to secure further additions to help in the mater of interpreting the music, incidental to the pictures. TOWN HALL. On Tuesday next, alternooii .and evening, at the Town J Jail I, the management will display the IUUU i'eet production of "The Mystery of the Hansom Cab,'' dramatised from tin Fergus Hume's well-known "shilling shocker. The film shows various lealures of Melbourne life, pictures o( Melbourne streets. gliinpss of Melbourne slums, sidelights on Melbourne .society, and of the thrilling Melbourne cab mystery.
