In the Levin Avenue last night several vehicles und horsemen were forced to pull up because of a horse which was hobbled being in the mid die of the road. A search was made for the owner-of the horso, and he was discovered lying in the drain at tho side of the road in a state of (missing word). Finding that he was not able to rid© home, ho had tied his horse's legs together with the stirrup leathers, and had then composed himself in the drain. He was asked to rise, but he contended that as he-had paid for his bed ho Tneant to have it. Finally lie was loft wliero he was to slumber neath the stars, with no covering other than a froafc. - .
