NEW ZEALAND FARMERS' 00- , OPERATIVE DISTRIBUTING ' CO., LTD. WEEKLY REPORT. WELLINGTON, May 15. Potatoes are still in fairly good demand, although signs of a weakening in the market are not wanting. Large quantities arc coming forward and the quality continues good. Onions iaro firmer, with brisker sales, globes being eagerly sought nftor. Porkers aro still in good demand, with indications that the supply will soon drop off, large quantities having come to hand this week. Slips .and suckers are scarcer, but the demand and price is weaker, owing to buyers being stocked up. In view of thc high prico of porkers, and a probable increase, we strongly recommend farmers to hold their pigs until they arc porkers, and we will be pleased to assist our clients to do this by quoting pig feed at a low rate, and if necessary on extended terms of credit. Fresh eggs are a shade weaker, while preserved arc selling at the same rate as last week, with slow sales. Wheat is still firm and shows' no weakening tendency, the same applying to oats.
