DALGETY'S LEVIN STOCK .SALE - K Messrs Dalgety and Co., f-td.. / "Wellington. report «s follows on their Levin sale, held oil the 23rd inst.: Wo ottered a large yarding of hotli sheep and cattle to a good .attendance of the public. Competition was not very brisk at the start, but brightened up considerably as the sale went on. The demand for young cattle was keener than «t previous sales, and we disposed of the hulk of our yarding at the following prices Sheep.—Two-tooth wethers to 16s, 2-tooth to f.f.ni. ewes to 13s 3d; f.tn. ewes to (5s 8d; lambs. 4s 2d. 6s to 6s 3d; ranis to 12s; fat ewes. 14s sd, 14s 6d to 14s Bd.
