Levin Stock Sales.
OOOI) YAKI)I.\(iS; FAIR. PRICES
Yesterday's yardings were quite up to the average of recent yardings. and the sales were good generally, although some classes of stock wero somewhat hard to quit. All classes of sheep showed a- slight decroa.sc in price, except, fat stuff, which sold exceedingly well. Fat wethers brought as high as His. This was no doubt due to the shortage of 'fats ' that invariably prevails at this time of the year. Cuttle did . not bring the. prices that they havef been realising lately; iu fact' there was a general depression amongst this class of stock. Hinged and Unringed. Pigs met a much keener demand than they did at last sale, prices being lo per cent better all round. J here was a good yarding and nearly everything -was sold.
