NEW ZEALAND FARMERS' CO- * OPERATIVE DISTRIBUTING CO., LTD. WEEKLY REPORT. WELLINGTON, May 8. Potatoes arc in good demand, and the quality now arriving from thc South is first-class. We do not anticipate any weakening of the market, an growers will now be pitting A; their crops. Onions aro slow of 9; sale, but no drop in value is looked for. Porkors are in splendid demand, also choppers, but slips and suckers aro weaker, owing to the a larger quantity coming forward and q the limited demand for this class. In view of the high prices of porkers and a probable increase, we ' strongly recommend farmers to hold their pigs until they are porkers, and wo will be pleased to assist our clients to do this by quoting pig feed at a low rate, and if necessary on extended terms of payment. Fresh eggs are slightly lower. Preserved lines are slow of sale, with fair quantity offering. Wheat is firm,
but we are inclined to think oats have reached their limit, unless thc unforeseen happens. FRUlT.—Cooking apples aro in short supply, and sell briskly at good prices.
