This Day. -Kie.hards Nicliolls. about 24 years of age. died .suddenly in bed early this morning apparently of appoploxy. His pa rents reside in Feilding. .SUPPLYING LIQUOR ILLEGALLY. WANG AN UJ', This Day. Mr J\err. S.M., gave his decision this mornings in the case wherein a barmaid at Foster's Hotel was charged with supplying liuor to an intoxicated person. He convicted her and fined her £o with costs £7, and solicitor's fee £3 3s. A charge against the landlord for permitting drunkenness, was adjourned until Monday. SUDDEN NEW PLYMOUTH, This Day. An elderly man named Thomas Martin, who lately arrived from Wellington, an. expressman, died suddenly tlits morning of a paralytic stroke. '
