Sir.- As ;i shop assistant who ■•vonl<l like to sec .Saturday made tho -C'lcral half-holiday in Levin, J vnnlrl likp to say that working men ■•\ on Id probably go down town on Friday night to see the shops as much as Saturday. Even though ilioy do have to go to work nest day they will liavo only a half-dayV work to do. and that can hurt no i n;ui. I say lot ii.s have a #nod spell from .Saturday afternoon on to Mon- - lay. instead of this Wednesday T»us'ness of a few hours.—Yours, etc., HOOKEY.
