There is little change in the potato market; supplies are still coming freely to hand. Onions have advanced, and the market is poorly supplied. Early arrivals will meet with a good reception. Porkers have made another advance, and sixponce per pound is now readily obtainable. Much larger supplies could be taken. Fresh eggs are in excellent demand at 2s 2d, with short supply, and preserved lines co*iild be taken in much larger quantities. Oats are steadier and wheat is unchanged. Ohaff is in fair demand. Australian chaff has lately been imported into Auckland. Large quantities of basic slag and super, arc going forward. FRUlT.—There is a hotter font with the sales of hoth cooking mud dessert apples, and dessert pears are realising high prices. Quinces arc in fair demand. Tomatoes are now flailing off in supply, and price*, have advanced considerably. VEGETABLES. Cauliflower are high, and cabbage selling well at fair prices. French beans arc selling at double the values of last week. Potatoes.—Co 10s to £6. Onions.—£6 to £7 per ton. French Beans.—2d per lb.
