There is little change in tlio potato market; supplies arc still coming freely to hand. Ojiions have advanced, and the market is poorly supplied. Early arrivals will meet with a good reception. Porkers have made another advance, and sixpence per pound is now readily obtainable. Much larger supplies could bo taken. Fresh eggs are in excellent demand at 2s 2d, with short supply, and preserved lines could be taken in much larger quantities. Oats are steadier and wheat is unchanged. Ohaff is in fair demand. Australian chaff has lately been imported into Auckland. Large quantities of basic slag and super, are going forward. FRUlT.—There is a better tone with the sales of both cooking am! dessert apples, and dessert pears are realising high prices. Quinces arc in fair demand. Tomatoes are now ffelling off in supply, iand price. l , have advanced considerably. VEGETABLES. Cauliflower arc high, and cabbage soiling well at fair prices.
