The following paragraphs tare reprinted from tho Mail Mrs G. A. W. Monekton, who has boon seriously ill in Wellington for some considerable time, show signs of complete recovery, and is now past the danger zone. Mrs Herbert Bright, who spent several weeks in Rotorua for medical treatment, is now in Auckland, where she is undergoing a fresh course of treatment. Latest advices report lier to he doing well. Mr and Mrs Byron Brown, and Miss Broun, left to-day, en route for Christchurch, where Mr and MisBrown will take part in the elocutionary contests. Mr Pleasants, Government Valuer, is at present making a fresh valuation of the Otaki town district properties. Mr Dickson, late of the local branch of the Bank of Australasia, left to-da.v for Whan2,l rei. for the purpose of entering into the fruitgrowing industry.
