We expect further advances onward, as the supply of pigs throughout the country is -decidedly short. Fresh eggs havo advanced, and a further rise is probable, the market being under supplied. Preserved lines are also wanted. There has been a decided advance in the values of oats during the week, and large sflles have been made to the North Island, in anticipation of a further rise. Wheat is firm and fowl wheat trill be scarce this year, as the havest of mostdistricts is well up to the mill* ing standard. Chaff is now selling freely, and the market shows little change.
