Rifle Shooting.
• LEVIN IUFLE CLUB
Tiio first competition in the last series of five "shoots" was commenced on Saturday last by Levin Ilifle Club, in very unfavourable weather, ou the Gladstone road range. Five members faced the targets and the sleet. The ranges were 500 and 700 yards, the longer distance being taken first. Rifleman Munro, with 24, got best score at 700 yards, and with 30 at 500 yards he topped the aggregate. Following arc the individual totals:— 700 500 yds yds Hp. Tl. .Rifleman ,1. A general meeting of tlio club will be held on "Wednesday evening, at 8 o'clock, in The Chronicle office.
