The Borough Council lias acccpteu the tender of Harvey /in<l C 0.,. for' the erection of a loan-to coal sbcd at the Gasworks, the price being £19 10s. Other tenders received were Pringle and Hnste €20 15s, and J. Whitaker £22 10s. Rov. A. C. Randerson, who has been attending the meetings of the Chapman-Alexander Mission in "Wellington during the week, will, on Sunday evening, in tho Presbytoriar. Church, gave an address on "Impressions of the Mission and the Mist; loners."
