On lhurjsday afternoon last the members of the Levin Wesleyan Ladies' Guild met at the residence of Mrs Bowen. The weather was bad, but there was a good attendance. Alter the formal business of the meeting, when Mrs Goldsmith was elected president in place of Mrs Jones, who*is leaving Levin, the preceding* took the form of a farewell to Mrs Jones. Kind wishes and hopes for the future happiness and prosperity of Mrs Jones were expressed.by all the members and success in her next sphere of work and strong appreciation of the good work she had done as president of tho Guild. Mrs Jones replied suitably, wishing the Ojiild many years of useful prosi>er)ty r arid thanking all for their kind Words.
