Rifle Shooting.
LEVIN DEFENCE RIFLE ChUli. On Saturday afternoon the Levin Defence Rifle Club fired the second and final shoot for the Fresh Food and Ice Company's .Silver Cup. The afternoon was fine after the heavy rain that fell during the morning, but the light was changeable, mid a choppy wind blew all the time, varying from four degrees right to three degrees left. Towards the finishing of the-shooting a thick fog came over the range, and made it bad for those who iired last; the target was hardly to be seen at times.
