Besides this, tho Minister and his party we"3 driven to Horowheiitia Lake with which tliey were delighted. After that the Minister w,nn shown the racecourse and was then driven to tlic Experimental Farm. He expressed himself as being agreeably surprised at the amount of land fit. for closer settlement in this district and said that he intended to motor through this district, later on. with some of liftf colleagues, and inspect the land between here and Rangitikei.
