ESTIMATED TOTAL YIELD OF , OUll CROPS. According to returns furnished to the Registrar-General the total estimated yields in the Dominion of the principal crops for the season 1912-13 will be approximately as given Ijelo.v. The estimate is based on a collection of returns by poet. All forms posted to farmers were not returned; the percentage of returns received out of the forms issued varying from 76.1 in Auckland to 99.5 in Canterbury, and averaging 86.61 per cent over the whole Dominion :— Wheat (bushels) 5.705.900 Oats (bushels) 14.870,415 ifkrley (Bushels) 1.360,052 Ryegrass (IBs) 27.877,331 Cocksfoot TIB) 7.385,456 Potatoes (tons) 155 835 Turnips (tons) 6.490.213 Mangolds (tons) 428,142
