Wool Business.
The Bank of Now Zealand have received the following advices from London, with reference to the wool sales which opened there on sth inst.: —"The Bales have opened wi v <h strong competition and large attendance of buyers. There is a good demand for all kinds of wool'. Total quantity of New Zealand wool "available is 75,000 bales. <7 The market is strong for medium and coarse crossbreds, for whioh prices are 5 to 7\ per cent, higher. "The market is strong for fine crossbred, for which prices are unchanged."
Mrs Stuckey and Sir A. Stuckey left Levin for Wellington yesterday afternoon en route to South Africa. They were farewelled at tho station By many old friend*.
