The Horowhenua representative team which wua Uj have played at Poriruu on Saturday did not travel, owing to a misunderstanding. An endeavour is to be made, to yet the team away next Saturday. An interesting cricket match is to take plsicc next Wednesday, in Levin, between the Veterans and the Levin Wednesday cricket team. This match lias "been long looked forward to by tho Wednesday team, which hap not forgotten the two severe beatings it received at tho hands of the "Ancients" last year. The veterans' team will be chosen from— B. R. Gardener. Dr. Kennedy, F. C. Remington. T<\ G. Roe. J. Rrougliton. W. BrougMon. Hugh Hall, J. Ryder, R. Butts, V. Hitehings, P. Harper. R. Ayrey, Franklin Webb. J. McTntyre. J. Dovine. H. B. France. H. E. Keys, and 0. B. Easter. The Levin Wednesday team will be chosen from—Simpson. Howe, Judd, .Blackburn, Mottersliead, Horn. Smith. "Cooper. Baylor Mills. Pringle. and Longbottom.
