Referring to recent cases of ptomaine poisoning in various partw of the Dominion, a Wanganni medipal man expressed tlie opinion that sorno of these cases were probably due tc poison of another kind, viz., arsenate of lead. Ho added that both children and adults frequently ate 1111pealed fruit which had been sprayed with arsenate of lead, and lie advised the pealing of fruit in all cases, so as to .avoid the danger of taking such a strong poison into the system.
