Motor Competitions.
The Welliiigton Motor Cyeli ig Club is to hold a twcnty-four-ho'.u-reliability trial on Friday and Saturday, the 21st an<l 22nd Februarv. It will be open to niumbers of any recognised motor cycle club. The competitors will be passing Levin, as will be noted from the -sub-

Route—Wellington (Customhouse} to Taibape, via Manawatu, and return via Wairarapa.
Competitors will be required to ride t.) ;i schedule time, which lias been worked out on the folowing basis:—
Wellington-Hulls section. II ni.p.h
Hulls-Kenthorston section (via Taihape) '20 : m.]).li.. .Featherston-Kai-toke section 1-1 m.p.h., KniloUe-Wel-lington section 20 ni.p.li. Compotiinrs will be allowed a margin of H minutes late at cvory control, nr/1 after this margin lias lieen taken mito consideration, one mark per minute will be lost for every minute Into. Portions of a minute will count as a full minute. Compct''ors may arrive early at any control, hut-any competitor doing so will not 1)0 allowed to depart before the time stated on his .«ircl.
Controls will be established at the folowing places:—
Up.-Pahaiiiaiim , (Hotel). Waiknnno (Store). Levin (Byko). Hulls (Walker's Stahle.s). TTnntervfl'e Wank of New Zealand). Tai'nnpo (Post Office).
Down.—Hunto-rvilio. Bulls. Woodvillo (Post Office), Eketahuna (Post Office). Masterton (Post Office). Feathers ton (Post Office), Kaitoke (Railway). Wellington (CustonVbhouse).
Secret controls will he established wherever possible, except between Hnntrville-Taihape-Hunterville; Pa!nierston North and Wondville; and Feathers!on and Kaitoke. Competitors will sto pat Levin (supper) Taihape- (Breakfast) and Woodrille i lunch). JOver.v competitor must
;'arry a sealed watch, and it will be from this watch that the time will 'k> taken. Competitors arriving a;;ny "control" with the seal broken will be liable to dis<iualiJication. Tin 'flicial at Tailtape will re-wind and -e-set any.watch, but watches so -altered must be sealed again.
