Onions areiu f.-'r sale. The price of eggs is still keeping up to a high, liguro for this time of the year, but tbeio are indications that the market is somewhat easier. Porkers arc in good domand. Cheese is decidedly weaker, and sales are slow. Poultry its in good demand for fair lots. Meals of all kinds are being freely orderde. Wheat is steady. Oats of new season's crop are now offering, and the market is uncertain. New chaff 'S selling freely, and the quality generally is excellent. During the week there has been a good demand for sed oats and Cape barley for Autumn sowing. FRUlT.—Apples arc now comiig in freely. Peaches are now plentiful and prices weaker. Pears are al*) reaching this market in fair quantities. Nectarines aro in good demand, as also are dessert plums. Tomatoes havo fallen very considerably since last week.
