Mr W. Winter, of Queen street, Levin, gained first prize at Marion Show to-day with his fine Holstein 'bull which he exhibited at the show in Levin last month. Immediate steps are to be taken by the County Council to adopt a by-law in the direction 'of preventing the erection of buildings on section having a less frontage than 30ft. It is probable that a special meeting will he called to deal with the in,atter immediately.
