The Levin Auctioneering Company report on the pig and poultry sale held at Levin on Friday as follows: A'-fiiir yarding came forward, and the demand for prime pigs was quite equal to recent sales. Hacon pigs showed a slight advance in values. There is still a limited demand for store pigs, although somewhat restricted, ou ing t; 1 ■ crease in the milk supply. Wo quote:— Light hnconers. to -15s 6(1; mediiini porkers, 3os Od ; light. 20s 6d to 31s Poultry sold well at late rales: Hens Is to Is lOd. There is a good enquiry for table birds of all descriptions, cockerels being in excellent demand.
