At the S.M. Ootirt. three XJtikti residents were convicted of sly grogselling. One was fined £10 and costs, one £20 and costs, and the (other £30 and costs. Throe defaulting Territorials woro convicted, and fines of £2 and costs were imposed in two eases.

The Premier and Miss Massey returned to Wellington to-day. The Hon. Mr Herries is at Napier, and will be leaving at 3 o'clock for Dannevirke, and proceeding to Wellington to-morrow.
