SOME CONCLUDING NOTES
In the tradesmen's exhibits excellent. displays were made. A comprehensive and well-chosen lot of harness was shown by Mr A. Denipsey, and his venture proved profitable for all parties to the bargains.
.Air E. Henderson. Levin agent for the New Hudson motor bikes, made a good display of these, and his demonstrations of their power and capacity were followed with keen :n----terest by those mechanically inclined. Some good sorts of motor cars were on the ground.
The pig exhibits at the show were of prime quality. The Berkshires were an especially notable lot.
A pleasing incident of the show was the official handing over to the successful lady riders of three bracelets given as trophies by local suppoVters of the association. Tho handing-over was entrusted to Mrs Kebbell, wife of the president of +be association, and she congratulated the respective winners in a few well chosen words. The trophies were won as follow .-—Best lady's., hack (donated bv Airs M. J. Suha 11). Mrs J. R. .McDonald; rider of ladios' hunter competition (donated by Mr Hen Ling) Miss Angus, rider of Betrayer; ladv driver (donated by Mrs W. Tompsitt) Miss Flora McDonald. On the call of Mr Hankins, senior, hearty cheers were given for each
