Further details are to hand of the death of the young lady Evelyn Oxenhain, aged 22 years, who lost her life on Mount Egmont on Sunday. She had made the ascent with a young man named Locke. A mist came ou. and they lost their bearings when near the crater. She being already exhausted. Locke loft her in an endeavour to recover the track, but on returning he could not find he.r. A search party under Guide Murphy met Locke descending almost distracted, but tailed to find the mi.-sing lady. After three hours another party ascended, and Murphy found the body, but 'ifc was extinct. Tt will Tie a difficult task bringing the body down, but it is hoped to effect it on Tuesday.
