EVENTS IN SHANNON. (Chronicled by Our Resident Representative). The final match for tho Hugh Hall Shield, for which tho Shannon and Otaki Clubs were contestants, took place on tho grounds of tho Training Farm, Levin, on Saturday. The scores were: Shannon 76, Otaki 19. Shannon thus becomes champion club team for 1913 of tho Horowhenua Crickot Association. Miss May D'unckloy will shortly he leaving Shannon for a whilo on a trip to England anil America. Sho leaves hero on February Ist, and will be accompanied by her brother, Mr T. C. Duucklcy, and his wifo and littlo girl.
