MOCK HARE.
Take one pound of raw beef and the same quantity of pork. Mineo both, and add three ounces of soaked bread and three ounces of breadcrumbs. Mix with two eggs, one onion, chopped finely, pepper and salt to taste, a little butter, and a teaspoonful of pounded caraway seeds. Form into the shape of a liaro, cover with breadcrumbs and slices of bacon. Bake for one hour
