Councillor Freeman (of Otaki) has been appointed a delegate to the Wellington Hospital [Board from Horowheiiua County. Councillor Venn was proposed for the office, but he declined nomination, as he thought he should not be on the board when he was in favour of severing this district from Wellington and attaching it to Palmorston North.
