Many of the competitive classes should evoke large entries, and it is expected that in the ladies' driving competition and in the best lady's hack and ladies' jumping competitions, record nominations will be received, as three handsome gold bracelets are donated for these events. The pony jump also should receive good support. Tn this event a valuable trophy, donated by Mrs F. C. Higgins, is being given as a first prize. Tn the maiden hunters' competition, which is open to horses that have never won a first prize in a jumping competition, Mr A. Dempsey donates a saddle and bridle valued at £7 10s, as the first prize. This event will give a winning chance to quite a cohort of horses. Given fine weather the show of 1913 promises to be the most successful yet held.
