The visitors in their second innings totalled 112, of which Deas made 20, Oilier 17, McCbrmaok 16, Kelly 10 not out. Robinson took six wickets for 41, t'enton 2 for 23. Wellington, wanting 117 to win, collapsed wind could only total 84, though there was nothing difficult in the bowling. Grimmett got 29, Eeechoy 14, Midlane 13, Schmoll 10. Scott took five wickefe for 45, Kyle four for 34, Gilter one for one. END OF BOWLTNG TOURNEY. TIMARU, December 28. In the last match of the bowling tournament, a pairs match, Herron and Waddell, Phoenix, Oiamaru, defeated W. Hogg and M. McLaren, Dnnedin 39—5.
