ADDTNGTON MARKET. CHRTSTOHUROH, Dec. 23. Tlie Aldington live stock market was held two days earlier on account of Christmas. There was a small entry of all classes of stock. The entry of fat lambs was much reduced, the number being approximately 900, as against 2113 last week. Tlie sale was a butchers' | sale pure and simple. Tlie demand was good, and all lots were nuitted at good prices without any hesitation. Tlie greater proportion of lambs were well finished, but a few pens were inferior. The range of prices for prime lambs was from 18s ! to 21s fid. Lighter sorts ranged from 1 16s 5d to 17s 9d, The yarding of store sheep was a vory small one, between 700 and 800 representing the total penned. Tlie yarding of fat sheep was a comparatively small one, and the demand, although mainly limited to butchers, was keen, values all round being on a par with those ruling a week earlier.
