; WELLINGTON v. HOllO. WHENUA. Much interest is being evinced in the cricket match, Wellington v. Horowhenua, which is to ho played on December 26th, at Levin. The Wellington team will be: McGirr, Ken. Tucker, Johnson, Sickey, Wells, Charlesworth, Laws, White, Hickson, Phillips, Rogers. Levin team: Williams, Young, Field, Butterworth, Ropata, .Tudd, Tremuen, Parata, Horn (captain), Moir, Harding. Emergencies: Judd and Broughlon. The Wellington team will arrive at f).30 on Thursday morning, and play will commence at 10.30 sharp. The visitors will he entertained to lunch at the Levin Hotel. Mr W. Broughton was sole selector of the Horowhenua team.
