TWO SPECIAL FILMS
The proprietary of the King s Theatre. Levin, has arranged two special films for Satnrady ami ( Monday respectively. Saturday s is to he sensational, Monday's domestic. Details are ns follow:---S VITRDAY'S FILM--"TOAI HITLER." Two convicts escape from prison aihl are fired at by the sentinel. One Imdv is found: the oilier is believed to have been washed away. Miss Hamilton, an actress, is preparing ,a now part, when she receives aletter, informing her that her husband. whom she was the cause ol sending to prison, has escaped. I hat husband is Butler. Villars. a journalist . is impressed by her beauty. Miss Hamilton is introduced to Baron de Norville, who in reality is Butler. Miss Hamilton leaves the purl v. and a short time after the manager rushes in announcing that the actress's life has been attempted by an assassin. She recovers. Entering her bedroom she finds a bunch of flowers. Concealed in it is a message from lier husband. Itdrives the actress from her bed, ami she seeks to escape by the window. and falls to the pavement. She is picked up and conveyed to an artist's studio near by. illars finds her. Also there comes an amateur to inspect the works of art. Outside. men are working on repairs: one falls through the room, the ambulance is send for and the man removed. "ft is found that Miss Hamilton has disappeared. Butler and his men are s-en hanging the actress by the hands. The police pursue them, and Butler with him accomplices make a hasty retreat. Villars sends a bouquet of flowers, the messenger is tripped up. and in the confusion a nan-otic is poured over the blossoms. The flowers are delivered and the narcotic takes effect. Butler and his gang carry off the actress. Villars follows Butler to an inn, where the party carrying the actress arrive. The bar is ' pushed back and a trap-door revealed, and the woman is taken helow. Here her husband reveals himself and informs her that she will he wailed in. Villars has seen all he needs. He returns with « strong force of police. They succeed in releasing the unhappy woman. Flinging his captors ironi him, Butler dashes through the window, only j to be killed on the pavement below.
MONDAY'S FILM- 'BROK EN CHAINS." A doctor who is living happily with his wife and child is called upon to attend an actress who has sprained her ankle whilst dancing the ballat. which is shown. After she has recovered they meet in a cal'e. and she asks him to call upon her, which he does. He becomes infatuated with the actress, and his wife, discovering, goes back to her parents. The wife earns her living bv singing for grama phone, records, and one day husband and actress are having refreshments together, when lie hears his wife's voice on a gramaphone. He is much upset and deckles to give up the actress, and calls in the assistance of a friend to help patch up the breach. A dramatic finale shows husband and wife re-united.
