A REMONSTRANCE.
(To tho Editor.)
Sir,—l wish tho reputation you havo for fair play (being perhaps the largest country paper in the Dominion), had prevented you from publishing the quotation from tho
•'Foxton Rubbish Heap" in reference to Mr Robertson, M.P. It is common knowledge that that gontloman has been in the north straining every nerve in his endeavour to bring about a settlement between tho different labour sections, the police and owners. For this he is termed a "Red Fed." If a few more of our M.P.'.s, journalists, etc., were out to holp humanity as ho is, instead of sensationalism ihero would not have boon tho deplorable trouble at either Waihi or Hnntly.— I am, etc., BROTHERLY LOVE.
