On Saturday nl'ternooii the Kevin i)efonce liille Club iired the firsL nun petition of the first series ol trophy shooting. Trophies to lie allotted at next meeting. The afternoon was not a good one for rifle shooting, the light being very bad. with a heavy fog of mist hanging on the range the whole time. Considering the weather conditions the shooting Wins of a lair average. The younger shots of tlio club fared flic worst on account of tlie weather conditions.
