OTAKI STOCK SALE

Dulgety and Co.. Ltd., Wellington, report as follows on their stock .sale, hold at Otaki: Wo had :i i'uiir yarding of sheep and a very good entry of cattle. Sheep were in demand hut the enquiry for cattlo was slack. Wo, however, disposed of most lines before the sale closed, .and quote the following prices:— SHEEP.—Fat shorn owes, los (id to 16s 3d; 4-tooth wotlier.s, 13s Id: shorn ewes, to 12s; mixed shorn sheep, to 12s 6d. CATTLE.—Two flnd a half year steers, tec £4 lfis; 18-month steers. £2 7s to £3 ss; 2-year heifers, £4 2s; yearling heifers, to £3 12s; springing heifers, £0 to £8; forward empty cows, £4 13s 6d, £4 17s to £5 Is; .store cows, £2 os to £3 lis; fat heifers, £o 4s fid; wean or pigs, 17s 6d.
