The Mabaura River and tho district streams overflowed tho bands and spread over a largo area of low -lying country. At Mandevillo tlie. Waimoa stream spread over a mile of country with the result a number of sheep we re drowned. Tho , Waikaia Wiaika'ka and Mimihau streams aj'e in flood, and parts of Wyndham township are. flooded, several houses being surrounded with water. The waters, however, are now receding.
