COWS ON THE ROADS.

Sir,—May I ask, through your Columns, whether the Borongli Council "'ill enforce the by-law with regard to the grazing of stock on the roads of the Borough? I have a few cows and a few sheep, and I nm compelled to find their grazing on a few acres. Yet Bath street and the continuation of that street across the railway line are now nothing less than cow paddocks. Every days cows are allowed in these particular localities, and if the rangor will jnst keep a "lamp" open, he will save a lot of heart burning, at the same time benefiting himself. No one should he allowed privileges denied to" the general public.— I am, etc., CONSTANT READER. Bath-street, Levin.
