"BROKEN PLEDGES" v. "FINDING LIGHT."
To the Editor. Sir,-—I liavo wailed to sec an advertisement in yours that the- Kov. Mr .lianderson would again preach on "The Rat Act." His eagerness to use his pulpit to scarify one who only technically broke a pledge (to assist Liberalism) is not .so apparent now when pledges have been broken lo assist. Toryism by an M.1 , . who is a relative of a Presbyterian divine. Its it a. case of Robertson "broke bis pledge,"' and Reed, Kisher. Millar. Ooates and Rhodes " found the light of Toryism." See Hansard for February for Fisher's and Reed's speeches. -Yours, etc., JJALIMI (JO.V.NOK'fc) MAM.
