They demand a distribution of the fund. BOGUS ACCIDENT: A SERIOUS MATTER. LONDON, May 26. Mr George Davies and Mrs Davies, of St. James' square, Holland Park (an aristocratic quarter in West London) claimed damages from the Fiat Motor Company for injuries sustained in a, collision between a taxicab in which they were travelling and a street refuge. The defence alleged that Mr and Mrs Davies bribed the taxi-driver, who gave evidence relating to the circumstances of tbs froggy strictest. A
verdict was given for the defendants and the Judge impounded the documents, and ordered the proeccution of the plaintiffs. HOME RULE. In opening an "All for Ireland League" meeting at Cork, Mr William O'Rrien said that Home Rule offered a reasonable nasis for conciliation, and he and his friends were ready to bury the hatchet and join the Redmondites to force the Government to make the measure acceptable to Ireland. 'I he trial of the last batch is proceeding. Scandalous scenes are being witnessed inside and outride of the court. The Republican mob is threatening counsel, jurymen and witnesses. Pistols are being used by both sides. During a Royalist trial at Lisbon the mob attacked and overturned the prison van and wounded several prisoners, who wore eventually rescued by the military with drawn sabres.
