BUSINESS NOTICES
[ At .Mr R. R. Harris's sale of dairy stock and furniture, etc., to be held at Mr W. Stewart's farm on Wednesday next, the 2!ith inst., there will be disposed of (also 011 behalf of Mr Harris), a number of valuable strains of imported poultry. MiHarris's Silver Wyandottcs are from an Australian strain, mixed with first-class stock from Dunedin and Porirua. His pen of Brown Leghorns are from Cunningham's special strain, which produced the first prize winners at the last Palmerston North show, and the Mack Minorcas are from a special Ota go laying strain. The White Leghorns are from the noted Pacinian-Leger -breed ; so all in all, the opportunity now afforded for the acquirement of first class strains of poultry is one that does not occur often. All the birds are guaranteed to be in excellent condition for winter and a goodly number of the liens and pullets are laying at tho present time. A clearing sale at Te lloro—oll behalf of Mr A\. Maker—is advertised 011 page I by Dalgetv and Co., Ltd. Replace advertisements from Messrs N. Uarratt and I'arker and Vincent will appear to-morrow.
