They raided tho Commercial'hotel, wrecked tho dining room, invaded the kitchen, ate a quantity of food, and threw the remainder on the floor. A crowd of ovor ia thousand took possession of the main street. The women leaders were intoxicated with excitement and behaved in an extraordinary manner. The police with difficulty prevented an actual riot. A conference is proceeding.
